At WLIC, nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of our students. We know you may have questions about actions we’re taking to help protect our students, staff, and faculty. In the Winter (January) term, and the Spring (May) term, WLIC will offer both online and in-person instruction. Some courses, activities and supports at WLIC will be delivered online and some in-person. We will keep the WLIC community updated with plans for future terms as they become available, in line with government and public health recommendations.
We are currently conducting our instruction remotely. On January 31st, WLIC, Laurier and Ontario are beginning a phased approach to removing COIVD 19 restrictions. Our COVID policies are in-line with those across Wilfrid Laurier University, and we will follow the four-phased approach announced by WLU on September 19th.
As a result, our 2 in-person courses, PS 101 and EC 120, will begin in-person instruction in Grand River Hall 101 from January 31st. All other courses will remain online for the entire Winter semester.
At WLIC, nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of our students. WLIC’s mandatory vaccination policy and face-covering policy remain in effect, as well as enhanced measures to support health and safety as we return to in-person activity. For further information,
Students planning to arrive or return to Canada should check the Travelling to Canada, WLIC Vaccination Policy and the WLIC International Student Travel Guide for more information.
Should you have any questions in relation to the COVID-19 virus or wish to follow-up in relation to one or more of the students or families with whom you interact with, please feel free to contact us directly.
